CREATE's mission is to advance the cognitive science and socio-cultural foundations of the educational use of these advanced technologies, develop methods and approaches for the design of technology-based materials based on principles derived from theoretically-sound foundations, implement models, frameworks, and examples of constructionist and instructionist applications based on these methods and principles, and develop and apply methods and criteria for the evaluation (and e-VALUE-ation) of such environments.
